Board Games

In collaboration with 1st/2nd grade split class educator Ms.King, students are exploring math concepts through creating their own board games. Some artist's even thought beyond the board and created active games, like C., who honed his sewing skills while creating this felt vest and ball. In the images above Y. created a game where airplanes fly over a volcano. See the sketch, then his completed volcano.  Below on the left J. is creating a snowy arctic board for some skiing penguins, and on the right Jv. is creating a game where humans are driving dinosaurs!  I don't think I have ever worked on a project with more laughter and silliness than this one.
